Language Arts: We have been busy reviewing our letter names and sounds. We have also been learning new Literacy Centres, which help us reinforce a variety of skills. 

Math: The students have been busy working with the numbers 1-10, using 10 frames, dot patterns, and a variety of math centres.  We have been enjoying a pumpkin unit this month, and have been busy measuring pumpkins and creating graphs.  

Social Studies:  In Social Studies we have been learning about each other, and how we are connected and part of a community.  We have talked about rules and responsibilities.  We also learned all about Terry Fox.  

Science:  We have been learning about daily and seasonal changes.  We have also learned about the needs of living things in our apples unit and our current pumpkin unit.
